ESP offers great light, textures, and urban decay for photographers. Located in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia this prison was operational from 1829 until 1971. Today it's U.S. National Historic Landmark, open to the public as a museum for tours.
The James river flows under the arch supports of the Manchester bridge with the city skyline of Richmond VA in the background. This long exposure gives the quickly flowing river an icy look on this early spring night.

Perhaps one of the best spots to see the city of Richmond on the James. This view from the south end of the Manchester bridge on the flood wall walk was taken just before sunset.
