Richmond, Below The 9th Street Bridge
Perhaps one of the best spots to see the city of Richmond on the James. This view from the south end of the Manchester bridge on the flood wall walk was taken just before sunset.
Eastern State Penitentiary (ESP)
A view down one of the many creepy corridors.
ESP offers great light, textures, and urban decay for photographers. Located in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia this prison was operational from 1829 until 1971. Today it's U.S. National Historic Landmark and is open to the public as a museum for tours.
Old Richmond stands along side of the new, shown here in this single exposure image of Richmond's Main Street train station. Main Street Station is an historic railroad station and office building in Richmond, Virginia. Originally built in 1901, it is currently served by Amtrak. Located between the James River Bridge (left) of Interstate 95 and the elevated rail-line (right), it is locally referred to by some passersby as The Clock Tower. The Main Street Station and train shed is a U.S. National Historic Landmark.
